Learn the ins and out of surf competition through simulated heats and coaching from our elite surf coaches. On-land conditioning will set you up for success in and out of the water in whatever athletic endeavors you face.
CRITERIA
Must be able to paddle out unassisted into the lineup
Must be able to catch waves unassisted
Must be able to ride down the line of the wave
Must have a positive attitude and be willing to take direction and coaching
Must be within grades 5th - 8th (2025-2026 School Year)
PRACTICES
Practice: We will have practices 2 days a week depending on conditions. Sunday mornings at 8am and one weekday afterschool practice depending on surf conditions. Afterschool practices will be announced on Fridays prior to the upcoming week.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Practices start September 15th and go through November 2nd at Anchorage Beach (909 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright).
You are expected to have the proper gear, including the proper wetsuit and surfboards.
TEAM PERKS
Team members will receive a team hoodie from their sponsor at Lucky Dog Surf Co.
Surfers will also receive a 10% discount and special discounts on surfboards and wetsuits at Lucky Dog Surf Co.
PRICE
Price for Fall Team is $750 (12 practices total). We accept cash or check. Checks can be made out to “Lucky Dog Surf School”.
